Our story began in 2017 at Stanford University, where we were both students. However, it wasn’t until the summer of that year, during our internships in Los Angeles, that sparks flew between us. Despite a minor mishap involving a near-kitchen fire (thanks to Charles’ culinary skills, or lack thereof), our connection deepened with each date we shared.

Upon graduating from Stanford in 2019, our adventures took us to various cities, including San Francisco, Oakland, and Boston, as we pursued our careers and explored the world together. But it was always the Bay Area that felt like home, drawing us back time and again.

In 2023, amidst the familiar beauty of Stanford's campus our love story reached new heights. Charles proposed in the very spot where we first said "I love you" to each other, weaving our past into our future. Just a week later, Adrian surprised Charles (as evidenced by him wearing the same shirt) with a proposal on the sandy beaches of Adrian’s hometown, a place close to his heart and filled with cherished memories.
